Dismembered body recovered from capital’s Adabor

Police on Saturday recovered a woman’s dead body, cut into 10 pieces, from a schoolbag found in the capital’s Adabor area, which lies next to Mohammadpur area.

The schoolbag was floating on the Hakkarpar canal at Adabor 10 area. Upon seeing the bag, locals sensed foul play, and informed police.

Around 5pm, police recovered the bag and found a woman’s head, torso and two hands inside, said Adabor Police Station Officer-in-Charge Md Jahidul Islam.

The body parts have been sent to the morgue at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital for autopsy, the officer said.
