The government on Wednesday appointed Rear Admiral Md Moinul
Hasan as the director general of the Bangladesh Coast Guard (BCG).
The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification,
announcing the Navy officer’s appointment to the top post at BCG with immediate
effect.
According to the same notification, the incumbent Rear
Admiral Md Ziaul Hoque has been transferred to the Armed Forces Division.
