SSC exam results won't be published Monday

Results of SSC and equivalent exams will not be published on Monday as previously announced by the education minister, said the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Saturday.

The boards need one more week to finalise the results, and afterwards, hopefully, the results will be published by the end of the month, said Prof Syed Akteruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.

The Education Ministry will take the final decision over the result publication date, he added.

Earlier, the boards had taken adequate preparations and were on course to meet the education minister’s 20 June deadline.

However, the recent unrest caused over the ongoing HSC exams, and the increased administrative engagement required by the crisis have delayed SSC result publication works, Syed Akteruzzaman said.
