Shahjahan Kabir appointed as Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge

The government has appointed Md Shahjahan Kabir as the new Metropolitan Sessions Judge of Dhaka after transferring him from the position of Bogura District and Sessions Judge.

A notification in this regard was issued on Sunday, signed by Md Masum Billah, Deputy Secretary of the Law and Justice Division.

Earlier, on 1 September last year, Md Sabbir Faiz was appointed as the Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge. He has now been transferred and posted as Judge of the Special Tribunal of the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission in Dhaka.

According to the notification, both officials have been directed to join their new workplaces by 24 June.
