Expo Group Bangladesh and Wings Group jointly organised an anti-sexual harassment awareness training programme for their employees, reaffirming their commitment to a safe, respectful and inclusive workplace culture.
The
session brought together approximately 1,000 employees from various departments
across both organisations. It focused on workplace conduct, legal compliance,
employee rights, and the prevention of harassment in professional environments, according to a press release.
The
session was facilitated by Jafrul Hasan Sharif, who provided insights into the
legal framework on workplace harassment, employer responsibilities, reporting
mechanisms and preventive measures to ensure a compliant workplace culture.
Speaking
on the initiative, Mahbubul Anam said maintaining a safe and respectful
workplace is fundamental to organisational values.
“Through
continuous awareness and structured training, we aim to ensure that every
employee feels secure and empowered,” he said.
Board
member of Expo Group Rayan Moyeen added that workplace awareness and education
are essential in building a responsible corporate culture.
Such
initiatives, he said, strengthen mutual respect and professionalism across the
organisation.
The
companies reiterated their zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harassment
and their continued commitment to employee well-being and ethical workplace
practices.
