New divisional commissioners appointed in Sylhet, Barishal, Khulna

The government has appointed new commissioners in the divisions of Sylhet, Barishal and Khulna.

All the divisional commissioners will hold the rank of additional secretary, said the notification issued in this regard by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday.

According to the notification, Md Abdullah Harun, additional secretary at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, will be Khulna division commissioner; Khalil Ahmed, additional secretary at the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, will be divisional commissioner in Barishal division; and Md Mashiur Rahman, director general at Directorate of July Mass Uprising, will serve as the divisional commissioner in Khulna division.
