40 promoted as senior district judges

The government on Wednesday promoted 40 district and sessions judges to the rank of senior district and sessions judge.

The Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a notification in this regard.

The 40 judicial service members have been promoted and provided with equivalent pay structure upon completion of their five years in office as district and sessions judges, the notification said.
