A Man has been arrested in Faridpur for allegedly defrauding several poor residents by promising to provide “Family Cards.”

The accused, Md Saiful Islam, son of Tamiz Uddin of Keshabnagar village in Gerda Union of Faridpur Sadar Upazila, was handed over to Kotalipara Police Station on Friday night around 7pm by local residents and BNP leaders.
