EC publishes centre-wise results for 297 seats

The Election Commission (EC) has published the centre-wise results for 297 seats in the 13th National Parliamentary Election.

The commission released the data on its website on Wednesday.

According to EC officials, voting was held in 42,651 centres across 299 constituencies out of the country’s 300 parliamentary seats in the 12 February polls.

Although centre-wise results are now publicly available, results for Chattogram-2 and Chattogram-4 remain withheld pending the settlement of court cases, said EC officials.

Meanwhile, voting in Sherpur-3 was cancelled following the death of a candidate. The commission announced a by-poll in 128 centres under this seat on 9 April.

The Election Commission announced the formal results for 297 seats on 13 February, a day after the nationwide voting.
