IDRA Chairman Aslam Alam resigns

Chairman of the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) Dr M Aslam Alam has resigned from his post, citing personal reasons.

In a letter sent to the Secretary of the Financial Institutions Division on Monday (2 March), he formally communicated his resignation.

The matter was confirmed by the organization’s spokesperson and Media and Communication Consultant, Saifunnahar Sumi.

In the letter, Dr M Aslam Alam stated that he had decided to resign from the position of Chairman due to personal reasons. He requested that his resignation be accepted and that the necessary subsequent measures be taken.
