BCL leader Saddam gets bail to mourn for late wife, son

The High Court (HC) on Monday granted six-month bail to Bagerhat Chhatra League leader Jewel Hasan Saddam on humanitarian grounds.

Saddam recently garnered attention after he had to witness the corpses of his wife and infant son at jail gate at Jashore Central Prison. The family did not have enough time or resources to file a parole application with the district administrator.
