Zubaida Rahman on her way to London

Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, left Dhaka for London on Saturday morning.

According to the BNP media cell, she departed Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at around 8:30am on a Qatar Airways flight bound for the United Kingdom.

Zubaida Rahman had arrived in Bangladesh on 5 December to accompany BNP Chairperson and former prime minister Khaleda Zia, who has been undergoing treatment at the capital's Evercare Hospital.

Party sources said Khaleda Zia’s condition has since stabilised compared to earlier.
