Quader, six other AL leaders face crimes against humanity charges

The prosecution has filed formal charges with the International Crimes Tribunal-2 against Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader, along with six other leaders of the party and its affiliated organisations, in a case related to crimes against humanity.

The other accused include AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Awami League Joint General Secretary; Mohammad Ali Arafat, former State Minister for Information; Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash, Jubo League Chairman; Moinul Hossain Nikhil, Jubo League General Secretary; and Saddam Hossain and Sheikh Wali Asif Inan, President and General Secretary of Chhatra League, respectively.

Prosecutor Gazi Monawar Hossain Tamim shared the information with the media today via text message.
