Popular indie band “Hatirpool Sessions” is set to make its return to the stage after a hiatus of nearly two and a half years with a special musical concert titled “Haati homachar” today. The concert will take place at the Krishibid Institution Bangladesh (KIB) Auditorium in the capital’s Farmgate area, bringing together three distinctive musical acts; Hatirpool Sessions, Kaaktaal and Firoze Jong; for an evening of live performances, musical nostalgia and celebration.
Presented by Sense It and organised by Twenties Communications, the event is scheduled to begin at 5:30 pm and continue till 9:00 pm.
The concert marks a significant occasion for Hatirpool Sessions and its followers, as the band prepares to reconnect with the audience through a live performance following its prolonged absence from the stage. The group’s return is expected to be one of the major attractions of the evening, particularly for fans who have been eagerly awaiting an opportunity to experience its music live once again.
Alongside Hatirpool Sessions, the concert will feature performances by Kaaktaal and Firoze Jong, adding variety to the musical lineup. Bringing the three acts together on a single platform, the organisers aim to create an engaging atmosphere for music enthusiasts and celebrate the growing appeal of Bangladesh's independent music scene.
The organisers have described “Haati Shomachar” as more than just a musical concert, highlighting its focus on friendship, togetherness and the distinctive cultural spirit of Dhaka.
“With the magic of music, the charm of Dhaka’s streets, and the spirit of togetherness, this evening is going to be one to remember! Don’t miss this incredible evening featuring Kaaktaal, Hatirpool Sessions and Firoze Jong—all on one stage. One evening, endless adda, and memories waiting to be made,” the organisers said in a statement.
