A A

A special group art exhibition titled “Akash Mati Jol” will begin today at Bhumi Gallery in the capital’s Lalmatia, bringing together the works of seven contemporary artists under one roof.
The exhibition offers visitors an opportunity to explore the individual artistic expressions of each participating artist while also discovering the visual connections and shared sensibilities that emerge through their works. By bringing together seven distinct creative voices, the exhibition celebrates artistic exploration, dedication, and the joy of creating and presenting art.
The participating artists are Jyoutsna Mahbuba, Hoasna Banu Chotna, Zemrina Haque, Monidipa Dasgupta, Mukti Bhowmik, Fahmida Enam Kakoli, and Nargis Akter Punam. Each artist brings a distinctive approach and perspective to the exhibition, creating a diverse collection that reflects their individual creative journeys and artistic interests.
The title “Akash Mati Jol” evokes the elemental relationship between sky, earth, and water, offering a broad conceptual space for viewers to engage with the artworks. Within this shared theme, the artists present their own interpretations and visual narratives, allowing the exhibition to unfold as a dialogue between different artistic perspectives.
The exhibition also provides a platform for the participating artists to showcase their creativity to art enthusiasts and engage with a wider audience. The combination of varied styles and approaches is expected to make the exhibition an engaging experience for both regular art lovers and those interested in exploring contemporary artistic practices.
“Akash Mati Jol” will remain open to visitors daily from 3:00pm to 8:00pm.
