Xiaomi 17T launches in Bangladesh with Leica triple-camera system

Xiaomi has recently launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Xiaomi 17T, in Bangladesh, reinforcing its premium portfolio with a device designed to deliver advanced mobile photography, high-end performance, and extended battery life.
At the heart of the Xiaomi 17T is a Leica-powered triple-camera system, featuring by a 50MP main sensor with Leica Summilux optics and a 50MP 5x telephoto lens. The device supports up to 120x AI Ultra Zoom, positioning it as a strong contender in mobile photography and long-range imaging. It also introduces creative features such as Live Moment and Stage Mode to enhance visual storytelling.
The smartphone sports a 6.59-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 3,500 nits. It is equipped with TÜV Rheinland-certified eye comfort technology alongside Xiaomi Vision Care features designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged use.
Powering the device is a 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, delivering up to 1.57 days of usage on a single charge. The handset features a slim, micro-curved design and carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
Under the hood, the Xiaomi 17T runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8500-Ultra processor with Xiaomi HyperOS. It also integrates Xiaomi HyperAI, Google Gemini and Circle to Search, enabling AI-assisted productivity and enhanced search capabilities.
Speaking at the launch, Ziauddin Chowdhury, country general manager of Xiaomi Bangladesh, said the 17T reflects the brand’s continued focus on expanding its premium smartphone lineup in the local market.
“With this device, we are bringing advanced Leica imaging technology to more users. We remain committed to introducing flagship innovations that enhance the overall smartphone experience in Bangladesh,” he said.
Targeted at photography enthusiasts, content creators and premium users, the Xiaomi 17T combines advanced imaging, performance and connectivity features, including Wi-Fi 6E and dual SIM support.
The Xiaomi 17T (12GB+256GB) is now available at authorised Xiaomi outlets across Bangladesh, priced at Tk79,999, and offered in three elegant colour options: Violet, Opal White and Black.
