Tawsif Mahbub reflects on dreams, gratitude on birthday

Popular television actor Tawsif Mahbub, who has won audiences’ hearts through his versatile performances, celebrated his birthday on Tuesday. The actor received warm wishes from fans, friends and colleagues, making the occasion even more special.

Marking the day, Tawsif shared a heartfelt social media post reflecting on his dreams, achievements and gratitude for the life he has built.

The reflection was inspired by a birthday message from a close friend, who wished him to become even greater than his dreams.

“Reading those words, I began to wonder: What are my dreams, really? What does it mean to become greater than one’s dreams? Am I even dreaming big enough?” Tawsif wrote.

The message prompted the actor to reflect on his journey and recognise the blessings he has received.

“I realised that I am already living a life that perhaps millions of others dream of. In our pursuit of something greater, we often forget how far we have come and how much we have already achieved,” he shared.

Rather than making new wishes, Tawsif chose to express gratitude to Allah for his achievements, humility and ability to support his loved ones.

He thanked the Almighty for allowing him to become who he is today, remain grounded and stand beside his family, fans and colleagues.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Tawsif continues to expand his career beyond television dramas. He has joined the cast of Vicky Zahed’s upcoming OTT series “Pranbhomora”, produced for streaming platform iScreen. The series also features Shreyashi Shreya.

The actor will also appear as a pilot in Shihab Shaheen’s upcoming web film “Cafe Umbrella”, which features several emerging performers. The film will be released tomorrow.
