‘Pujo Barir Gaan’ brings together popular voices for Durga Puja

Popular Bangladeshi fashion house Bishworang has launched a special musical initiative featuring 13 songs to celebrate Sharadiya Durga Puja, marking a first-of-its-kind arrangement in Bangladesh.

Titled “Pujo Barir Gaan” (Songs of the Puja Home), the initiative captures the festive spirit of Durga Puja while highlighting the rich traditions, cultural heritage and timeless essence of Bengali identity.

The special musical presentation features performances by several renowned singers, including Sukanya Majumder, Rehan Rasul, Puja, Susmita Saha, Sinthi Saha, Closeup star Salma, Putul, Sandipan and Sajib.

The songs are being released on Bishwo Rang’s official YouTube channel and Facebook page. The initiative aims to present Bengali music and cultural traditions in a fresh light against the backdrop of Sharadiya Durga Puja. Through music, Bishwo Rang seeks to spread the joy, emotions and festive spirit of Durga Puja while celebrating the enduring cultural heritage of the Bengali people.

The project has been planned and directed by Biplob Saha, with cinematography by Anik Chanda and BC Imran. BC Imran has also handled editing and colour grading.
