Nisho, Mehazabien set to reunite in web film!

Afran Nisho and Mehazabien Chowdhury, one of country’s most celebrated small-screen pairs, are reportedly set to reunite after a long hiatus.

According to sources, preparations are underway for a new web film starring the duo, to be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Vicky Zahed. Although no official announcement has been made, pre-production work has already begun. If everything proceeds as planned, the project is expected to be unveiled officially in the coming months, with a tentative release on an OTT platform in December.

Nisho and Mehazabien have previously delivered several memorable productions together, including “Punorjonmo”, “Shilpi”, “Shuklapokkho”, “Mainkar Chipay”, “22nd April”, and “Neel Jol Kabyo”. Their chemistry has earned them widespread acclaim and made them one of the most popular drama pairs in Bangladesh.

Among their collaborations, the “Punorjonmo” series stands out as a major success. Since its debut in 2021, the dark thriller has captivated audiences with its gripping suspense, with each installment receiving an overwhelming response from viewers.

Meanwhile, industry insiders suggest that Mehazabien is also being considered to star opposite Nisho in Raihan Rafi’s “Surongo 2”. The first installment featured Tama Mirza alongside Nisho, but the sequel is expected to introduce a new leading lady. Production house SVF Alpha-i has already confirmed Nisho’s return, though the actress has yet to be officially announced.

Sources say several actresses have been approached for the role, with Mehazabien among the frontrunners. While neither project has been officially confirmed, the possibility of the beloved Nisho-Mehazabien pairing returning to the screen has already generated considerable excitement among fans.
