After two decades, the tide of rock music is once again going to flow in Jamalpur. “Jamalpur Rock Fest 2.0 2025” will be held on 19 November at the Jamalpur District Auditorium. 

Singer Saif Shuvo and band Lalon will rock the stage at this event. According to the organisers, arranging such a large rock fest at the district level after a long break has created new enthusiasm among local music lovers.

Saif Shuvo said, “It is a joy and pride for me to be a part of such a big event on the soil of Jamalpur. This initiative of local youth is undoubtedly commendable.” 

One of the most popular bands in Bangladesh, Lalon, has announced that the band Lalon will add a different dimension to the event with their timeless songs and philosophical performances. 

Bands Samoyed, Metal Error, Black Soldiers and Rafi will also perform at the event. 

The organising committee Chachchu’s Team said that the aim of this rock fest is not just entertainment - but also to encourage creative music practice among the youth and bring back the tradition of music in Jamalpur. 

The rock fest will start from the morning of 19 November and continue till night. It is reported that local artists and young bands will also be given the opportunity to perform at the fest. There has already been a lot of interest and excitement among music lovers in Jamalpur.
