Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra was discharged from South Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital on Wednesday morning and has returned to his Juhu-Vile Parle bungalow.

Doctors and family members said the actor will continue his treatment at home under medical supervision. Dr Prateet Samdani will oversee his health monitoring.

Earlier in the day, a statement from the PR team of his elder son, actor Sunny Deol, confirmed the news, saying, “Mr Dharmendra has been discharged from the hospital and will continue his recovery at home. We request the media to refrain from speculation and to respect the family’s privacy during this personal time. We also extend heartfelt gratitude to all fans and well-wishers for their love, prayers, and good wishes for Dharmendraji’s speedy recovery.”

On Tuesday, Dharmendra’s daughter, Esha Deol, also shared an update on her father’s condition, saying, “Our father is stable and responding well to treatment. We request everyone to respect our family’s privacy at this moment.”

At around 7:30am on Wednesday, Dharmendra was brought home in an ambulance from Breach Candy Hospital to his residence in Mumbai’s northwestern suburbs.

The legendary “He-Man” of Indian cinema was admitted to the hospital on November 1 with age-related health issues. Dharmendra, who turns 90 later this month, remains one of Hindi cinema’s most enduring and beloved icons.
