Bindu collaborates with Rajib Moni Das in TVC

Popular actress Afsana Ara Bindu has collaborated with playwright and maker Rajib Moni Das in a new advertisement for Sonali Exchange Co Inc in the United States.

Sonali Exchange is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sonali Bank PLC, Bangladesh’s largest state-owned commercial bank. For the past 32 years, the company has been providing remittance services to Bangladeshi expatriates across various US states. Through its mobile app, users in nine US states can currently send money to Bangladesh anytime, without service charges or taxes.

Rajib Moni Das has previously developed and directed several advertisements. Talking about his latest project, he said clients increasingly seek distinctive concepts that communicate a product’s strategy effectively within a short time. He added that the concept of this advertisement closely reflects Sonali Exchange’s services.

The director also acknowledged the challenges of working abroad, including difficulties in arranging production crews, lighting and camera equipment. He expressed hope that the campaign will encourage more Bangladeshis in the US to send remittances through legal channels, contributing to the country’s economy.

The advertisement also features Sonali Exchange President and CEO Mohammad Mohsin Kabir, Abu Musa Masum and others.
