Bangladesh Embassy in Romania observes National Revolution and Solidarity Day

The Embassy of Bangladesh in Bucharest observed the National Revolution and Solidarity Day 2026 on Saturday with due solemnity and reverence at the Embassy premises.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the national flag of Bangladesh to the tune of the national anthem, followed by special prayers seeking peace, prosperity and continued progress of Bangladesh, the Embassy said in a social media post.

Shahnaz Gazi, ambassador of Bangladesh to Romania, read out the messages of the president and the prime minister on the occasion. Two documentaries highlighting the historical background and significance of the day were screened, followed by a discussion session.

National Revolution and Solidarity Day observed in Tokyo

In her remarks, the ambassador highlighted the historical significance of the day and emphasised the importance of national unity, solidarity and collective responsibility towards the country’s continued progress.

She also expressed her sincere appreciation to the guests for their participation.
