UAE envoy, tech leaders discuss AI, smart-city cooperation in Bangladesh

United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ambassador to Bangladesh HE Abdulla Ali AlHmoudi held a meeting with technology leaders in Dhaka to discuss potential bilateral cooperation across key technological sectors, including artificial intelligence (AI) and smart-city initiatives.

The discussions were held with Martin Yates, Government Technology Advisor of the UAE Executive Leadership Team at Presight, and Major General (retd) Md Ashikuzzaman, ndc, afwc, psc, Group Director of Bangla Trac.

During the meeting, the participants explored avenues for expanding mutual collaboration in cybersecurity, smart-city development, AI technologies, and integrated data platforms.

They also held talks on advancing joint solutions in urban security frameworks and traffic management systems.
