Three Bangladesh Army officers receive US infantry award

The US Embassy in Dhaka has congratulated three Bangladesh Army officers on receiving the prestigious Order of Saint Maurice from the US National Infantry Association.

In a post on social media platform X on Thursday (29 October), the embassy said the award recognised the officers’ leadership, commitment to the infantry profession and dedication to joint training during Exercise Tiger Lightning 2026.

The embassy did not name the three officers in its post.

The Order of Saint Maurice is an honour bestowed by the US National Infantry Association in recognition of distinguished contributions to the infantry profession.
