Humaiun arrives in Algeria to strengthen energy, trade cooperation

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir arrived in Algiers on Tuesday on a two-day official visit. 

He was received by Abdelmalek Bouheddou, director general for Asia and Oceania at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Algeria, according to a press release.

During the visit, the state minister is scheduled to hold meetings with the Algerian ministers responsible for hydrocarbons, foreign affairs, and agriculture, rural development and fisheries, as well as the prime minister.

The meetings will focus on energy cooperation, trade, agricultural cooperation and other issues of mutual interest, with a view to further strengthening bilateral ties between Bangladesh and Algeria.
