Istanbul Airport CEO pays courtesy call on PM

iGA Istanbul Airport CEO Selahattin Bilgen today paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman at Istanbul Airport during his transit en route to New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly.

During the meeting, they discussed investment opportunities in various sectors, including the modernisation of Bangladesh's airports, said PM's Assistant Press Secretary KM Nazmul Haque.

Finance Minister Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister M Rashiduzzaman Millat and several members of the Prime Minister's entourage were present during the courtesy call.

The prime minister made a stopover of a few hours at the airport while travelling to the United States. 

He later departed Istanbul Airport for New York at 2:10am (Turkey Time).
