Rizvi, Cooke eye taking Bangladesh-UK ties forward

BNP acting secretary general and standing committee member Ruhul Kabir Rizvi and British High Commissioner to Bangladesh Sarah Cooke held a courtesy meeting with  on Monday.

The meeting was held at BNP Chairman’s Office in the capital’s Gulshan.

During the meeting, Cooke congratulated Rizvi on his new role. Both sides discussed several issues in a cordial manner, including taking Bangladesh-UK relationship forward.
