The Embassy of Nepal in Dhaka has opened a dedicated bank account to receive voluntary financial contributions for victims of the devastating flash floods in Nepal.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, the embassy
said flash floods in the Bhote Koshi and Trishuli rivers on 26 August caused
loss of lives and property, leaving many people injured, missing and severely

The embassy said it had received messages of

as well as friends and well-wishers of Nepal and various institutions,
following the disaster.
“In response to the increasing number of inquiries regarding ways to support the Flash Flood Victims, the Embassy has opened a dedicated bank account to facilitate voluntary financial contributions,” it said.
Interested individuals, organisations and institutions can make contributions to the following account:
Bank: Commercial Bank of Ceylon PLC
Account name: Embassy of Nepal, Dhaka
Account number: 10000028629
Branch: Gulshan
The embassy invited individuals,
organisations and institutions in Bangladesh to contribute to the relief
