Humaiun visits KSA to attend OIC meeting

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir is currently visiting Saudi Arabia to take part in a foreign minister-level meeting between members of Organisation for Islamic Cooperation (OIC).

As part of his visit, Humaiun will attend an emergency meeting at OIC Headquarters in Jeddah on Thursday, sources at the foreign ministry said.

According to ministry officials, Humaiun will represent Foreign Minister Khalilur Rahman at the meeting.

The Saudi visit is the first official foreign travel by Humaiun as a state minister. He is scheduled to return home on Friday.
