Maldives President heads to Dhaka for Tarique’s oath-taking ceremony

Maldives President Mohamed Muizzu has left for Dhaka to attend the oath-taking ceremony of Bangladesh’s new government.

A statement from the President’s Office of the Maldives on Monday evening said Muizzu is travelling at the invitation of Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus.

During the three-day visit from 16 to 18 February, Muizzu is set to meet with the newly elected prime minister, the statement said.

The Maldives President will be accompanied by a high-level delegation.
