US seeks to work with BNP govt for regional security, prosperity

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on Friday said Washington looks
forward to working with the newly elected BNP-led government to advance
prosperity and the security of the South Asia region.
In a post published on his “X” handle, Rubio also congratulated
the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), its leader Tarique Rahman and the
people of Bangladesh upon successful conclusion of the 13th parliamentary
elections.
