Shakib Khan, Dipjol to reunite on screen after a decade?

After more than a decade, will two of Dhallywood’s most popular stars, Shakib Khan and Monowar Hossain Dipjol, once again share the screen in the same film? A recent social media post by Dipjol has sparked fresh speculation and excitement among fans.

The discussion began after Dipjol tagged filmmaker Himel Ashraf in a post on social media. Soon afterwards, reports began circulating on various platforms claiming that Shakib Khan and Dipjol would appear together in Himel Ashraf’s upcoming film. The news quickly generated interest among fans of both actors.

However, director Himel Ashraf has dismissed the reports as baseless.

“About six months ago, I had a preliminary discussion with Dipjol bhai regarding a film. However, the project did not move forward,” Himel Ashraf said. “A couple of days ago, I noticed that he had tagged me in a post from his verified account. Beyond that, I do not know anything.”

Responding to reports about casting Shakib Khan and Dipjol together, the director added, “I have seen several reports claiming that Shakib and Dipjol are doing a film together. At the moment, neither of them is appearing together in any of my projects. If something like that happens in the future, everyone will know.”

Meanwhile, there has been speculation within the film industry that Shakib Khan may work with Himel Ashraf on a new project next year. However, the director said there has been no discussion about Dipjol joining that film.

Dipjol’s social media post has revived hopes among fans of seeing the once-popular duo together again. Shakib and Dipjol previously appeared in several successful films, including “Koti Takar Kabin”, “Chachchu”, “Dadima”, “Pitar Ashon” and “Badha”.
