‘Ilias Kanchan is still not fully recovered’

Veteran actor Ilias Kanchan is going again to London, UK, on 12 August for further medical treatment, just days after returning home following a lengthy stay abroad. Although his health has improved, he has not yet made a full recovery, according to veteran actress Rozina.
Rozina recently visited Ilias Kanchan at his residence in the capital’s Gulshan, and later shared an update on his condition in a Facebook post. She said she felt encouraged after meeting the actor upon his return from London, but noted that his treatment is still ongoing.
“Ilias Kanchan is still not fully recovered. Following the doctors’ advice, he will travel to London again on 12 August for further treatment. By the grace of Almighty Allah, I hope he will recover completely very soon,” Rozina wrote.
Ilias Kanchan returned to Bangladesh on 3 August after spending more than 15 months in the UK for treatment. Speaking briefly to reporters upon his arrival at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport, he sought prayers from the people of the country and extended his best wishes to everyone.
