Popular actor Afran Nisho starrer and Redoan Rony directed film “Domm” went on the floors on Friday. Based on a true story, the project brings together two of the country’s most celebrated actors Chanchal Chowdhury and Afran Nisho for their first on-screen collaboration.

The announcement of “Domm” was made in December 2023, and the production has now officially commenced. Redoan Rony shared the news of the film’s shooting beginning on Friday through his social media account. He also posted the film’s poster, simply captioning it “Bismillah.”

Besides Bangladesh, the shooting will take place across several international locations, including Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Kazakhstan.

Domm marks Afran Nisho’s fourth feature film appearance, following “Surongo”, “Daagi”, and a special appearance in “Taandob”. The project also heralds Redoan Rony’s return to film direction after nearly a decade. Puja Cherry will star opposite Nisho in the film.
