Fast celebrates ‘World Bread and Ban Day’ for the first time in Bangladesh

For the first time in Bangladesh, "World Bread and Ban Day" was celebrated with great splendor. Akij Bakers Limited's popular brand, Fast Bread and Bun, organised this historic event at "The Grandeur" located in Suvastu Hena Skyline, Gulshan, Dhaka.

Numerous bread and bun enthusiasts from across the country participated in this colorful festival, which ran from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, according to a press release.

The main attraction of the event was a special "Live Sandwich Creation Station" for the attending guests.

A wide variety of different flavored premium ingredients were provided there. Visitors enjoyed the exceptional experience of making sandwiches using their own recipes with ingredients of their choice.

The event commenced with Sheikh Jamil Uddin, Managing Director of Akij Bakers Limited, cutting a giant-sized bun alongside the invited guests.

The organisers stated that Fast Bread and Bun has earned the distinction of being the first brand in Bangladesh to officially celebrate this day.

This unique initiative was undertaken to highlight the involvement and nutritional importance of bread and bun in modern, busy lives, and such efforts will continue in the future.

The event was attended by Sheikh Jamil Uddin, Managing Director of Akij Bakers Limited, along with other senior officials of the company.
