BAT Bangladesh appoints Momshad as corporate affairs head

BAT Bangladesh PLC has brought in seasoned corporate affairs professional Momshad Ali Khan as its head of corporate and regulatory affairs, effective 1 October.

With more than two decades of experience in government relations, regulatory affairs and strategic communications, Momshad takes charge of the role amid an evolving policy and regulatory environment, according to a press release.

He previously served as director of public affairs, communications and sustainability at Coca-Cola Bangladesh. 

He also held senior positions at JT International Bangladesh and Chevron Bangladesh.

Momshad holds an MBA from the University of Dhaka and an Executive MBA from American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB).

“I am honoured to join an organisation with a legacy of more than 116 years in this region,” he said, adding that he looks forward to supporting the company’s sustainable success and navigating the evolving policy and regulatory landscape.
