“Marks All Rounder” Regional level competitions held in Barishal division

The regional level competitions of the country’s biggest talent hunt for children and teenagers, “Marks All Rounder – Show All Your Talents” were held in Barishal division on Friday and Saturday.
The competitions were held at Bijmohan School(BM School), Kawnia Government Secondary School, Asmat Ali Khan (AK) Institution and Latif Municipal Seminary.
So far, the regional rounds have been held in various districts including Chattogram, Comilla, Brahmanbaria, Lakshmipur, Chandpur, Jessore, Magura, Noakhali, Feni, Sylhet, Natore, Pabna, Moulvibazar, Habiganj, Sunamganj, Faridpur, Madaripur, Gopalganj, Shariatpur, Rajbari, Bogura, Gaibandha, Joypurhat, Netrokona, Naogaon, Kishoreganj, Bhola, Sitakunda, Mirsarai, Sirajganj, Rangpur, Rajshahi, Khulna, Dinajpur, Nilphamari, Mymensingh, Kushtia, Jhenaidah, Tangail, and Jamalpur, among others.
Notably, the countrywide competition has begun offering winners more than Tk1 crore in total prizes and scholarships.
Students from all schools and colleges across Bangladesh, from playgroup to grade 12, as well as equivalent educational institutions, are eligible to participate.
In the competition, the top three all-rounders from each of the three groups will receive scholarships worth Tk15 lakh each, with other winners at various levels will get prizes and scholarships exceeding Tk1 crore in total.
Additionally, in the grand finale, the first and second runners-up from each group will receive scholarships of Tk5 lakh and Tk3 lakh respectively.
The orgenisers also said that in each of the six subjects across the three groups, the top three performers — totaling 54 students — will be awarded gold, silver, and bronze medals.
At the national level, the champion institutions from each group will receive one computer each.
The competition will be held in three stages -- regional, divisional, and national.
Groups and Subjects
The Junior School group comprising students from play group to Class IV will take part in the music, dance, acting, painting, recitation and storytelling competitions.
Besides, the Middle School group consisting of students from class V to Class VIII will compete in music, dance, acting, painting, recitation and extempore speech events.
On the other hand, the students from Class IX to Class XII will be eligible for taking part in the music, dance, acting, painting, recitation and extempore speech competition under the High School and College group.
