Bank Asia signs MoU with Asia Insurance to facilitate motorcycle loans

Bank Asia PLC has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Asia Insurance PLC to offer robust insurance coverage for buyers availing two-wheeler loan facilities, making motorcycle purchases more convenient and accessible for prospective buyers.

The partnership will also encompass joint marketing initiatives, customer engagement programmes and promotional activities to enhance customer awareness and facilitate access to financial and insurance services, according to a press release.

The MoU was signed in a ceremony held at Rupayan Trade Centre, Bangla Motor, Dhaka recently. 

Md Zahed Chowdhury, executive vice-president and head of Assets, Retail Banking Division of Bank Asia, and Md Imam Shaheen, chief executive officer and managing director of Asia Insurance, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

Through this partnership, motorcycle buyers will have access to convenient financing facilities along with suitable insurance coverage for their vehicles.
