NRB Bank launches NRCT Account for non-resident Bangladeshis

NRB Bank PLC has launched the Non-Resident Convertible Taka Account (NRCTA) under the slogan “NRB Bank for Non-Resident Bangladeshis (NRBs)”. 

Tarek Reaz Khan, managing director and CEO of the bank, launched the service at a simple ceremony held at the bank’s corporate head office in Dhaka on Sunday, according to a press release.

NRB Bank is one of the first banks in Bangladesh to launch the product. 

Anwar Uddin and Kimiwa Saddat, additional managing directors; M Rashidul Huda, deputy managing director; and Oli Ahad Chowdhury, SEVP and head of retail banking, were among others present at the event.
