A delegation of Dutch companies will take part in the
“Bangladesh International Marine and Offshore Expo (BIMOX) 2026,” which will be
held on 12-17 October at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB)
in the capital.
Bangladeshi public and private sector partners will also be
part of the “Netherlands Maritime Trade Mission Bangladesh 2026,” the Dutch
embassy in Dhaka said in a Facebook post on Friday.
The delegation will have high level meetings and
sector-focused exchanges in Chittagong and Dhaka, it said, adding that it will be
available for visit and contact in the Netherlands Pavilion at Hall 4 in ICCB.
The delegation will also host a seminar, “The Maritime
Future is Now – The Netherlands Approach to New Opportunities”, alongside
dedicated partner meetings.
“As Bangladesh expands its ports, shipbuilding and repair
capacity, Dutch maritime expertise offers practical, sustainable solutions. We
look forward to productive exchanges that will strengthen bilateral trade and
support a more sustainable maritime industry,” the embassy said in the Facebook
post.
