The Westin Dhaka hosts International Kebab Festival

The Westin Dhaka, in partnership with Prime Bank PLC, has launched the International Kebab Festival, bringing together kebabs inspired by culinary traditions from around the world.

The festival began on 23 September and will continue until October 3 at Seasonal Tastes on Level 2 of The Westin Dhaka in Gulshan 2, offering guests an immersive culinary experience celebrating the heritage, flavours and craftsmanship of kebabs.

The festival was inaugurated on 23 September in the presence of Lalla Bouthaina El Kerdoudi El Koulali, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Bangladesh; Rashed Al-Mail Al-Zaabi, Director of the Foreign Aid Office at the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates; Shaila Abedin, Head of Liability & Women Banking at Prime Bank PLC; Md Shakawath Hossain, Chief Executive Officer of Unique Hotel & Resorts PLC; Gary Farstad, General Manager; and Mamunur Rahman Shumon, Director of Sales & Marketing of The Westin Dhaka and Sheraton Dhaka.

Members of the culinary team, media representatives and senior leaders of The Westin Dhaka also attended the event. The celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, followed by a curated tasting experience featuring selections from the festival.

Led by Executive Chef Swapan Rozario and the culinary team, the festival features an extensive selection of kebabs drawing inspiration from culinary traditions across continents.

The menu includes Spicy Dhakaiya Sutli Kebab, Beef Bihari Kebab, Lahori Seekh Kebab, Hyderabadi Seekh Kebab, Fish Hariyali Kebab and Peri Peri Chicken Kebab.

The charcoal-grilled selection includes Charcoal Lobster Kebab, Charcoal Naga Beef Kebab, Tandoori Crab Kebab and Rib Set Kebab.

The international selection features Afghan Kabuli Lamb Kebab, Afghan Lamb Chop Kebab, Greek Chicken Souvlaki and Brazilian Espetinho, bringing together a range of global kebab traditions.

The festival is available exclusively for dinner and is priced at Tk9,450 net per person. Guests can avail themselves of B1G3, B1G2 and B1G1 offers through Prime Bank PLC and other partner banks, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
