Sammilito Islami Bank says clients can withdraw deposits from 7 Sept

The retail customers of financial institutions under the Sammilito Islami Bank can withdraw their full deposits from 7 September, the bank said in a notification on Monday.

However, the clients will not get any interest payments or proceeds against the withdrawn savings, term deposits and other kinds of deposits, added the notification sent to all the regional and branch offices.

Individuals have to apply with their nearest branches from Tuesday to withdraw the funds from 7 September, said the notification signed by the bank’s Deputy Managing Director AF Sabbir Ahmed.
