Bangladesh needs to enhance the youths’ professional skills,
discipline, Japanese-language proficiency, and workplace culture for exploiting
the employment opportunities in Japan and elsewhere around the world, experts
and stakeholders said on Tuesday.
They made the call at a certificate award ceremony and
seminar titled “Today’s Training, Tomorrow’s Journey to Japan” organized by
Heartful Limited at the Bangladesh Coast Guard Technical Training Institute
(BCGTTI).
In order to promote skills development and international
employment opportunities for Bangladeshi youth, the event brought together
senior representatives of the Bangladesh Coast Guard, Japanese guests,
trainees, guardians and representatives of Heartful Limited.
Certificates were handed over to three batches of trainees at the event.
Speaking at the event, Yoshida Tomohiro, chairman of Heartful Limited, shared his vision regarding the future development of Bangladeshi youth, international employment and stronger human-resource cooperation between Bangladesh and Japan.
He emphasised that acquiring skills is not merely the
completion of a training programme but the beginning of a longer journey toward
professional development and economic opportunity.
The Chairman's address reinforced the company’s vision of
building stronger connections between Bangladesh and Japan through skilled
human resources, professional training and responsible international employment.
Murad Hassan Zenith, managing director of Heartful Limited,
highlighted the company's commitment to developing skilled and responsible
human resources and creating meaningful international employment opportunities
for Bangladeshi youth.
He said that training should not end with the acquisition of
a certificate; rather, it should serve as the foundation for a successful
professional career.
The event was also attended by Director (Logistics) of
Bangladesh Coast Guard, Captain Mohammad Hafizul Billah, and Chairman of
Fukuzawa Group of Industries, Japan, Jun Fukuzawa.
The event was presided over by the CEO of Hi-Tech
Corporation Yoshida Tomohiro, and a delegation of Japanese expert trainers
