The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare is expected to receive Tk69,409 crore for the FY2026–27, which represents 1.01% of the nation’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
The revised budget for the FY2025–26 allocated Tk35,477 crore to the sector, accounting for 0.58% of GDP, meaning the government has proposed to nearly double the budget in the FY2026–27.
