Gas supply resumes after LNG terminal maintenance

Gas supply to the national grid has returned to normal following the completion of maintenance work at Summit Group’s liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal in Maheshkhali, Cox’s Bazar.
Regasification operations at the terminal resumed at 1pm on Saturday, according to a press release issued by Petrobangla.
With the resumption of operations, both LNG terminals in the country are now supplying gas to the national grid as usual, restoring normal gas supply, Petrobangla said.
The state-owned energy corporation also thanked consumers for their cooperation during the maintenance period.
