Citizens Bank opens new branch in Khatunganj branch

Citizens Bank PLC has opened a new branch in Khatunganj, a major commercial hub in Chattogram, to expand its banking services for local businesses and customers.
Chowdhury Mohammed Hanif Shoeb, chairman of the bank, inaugurated the branch recently as the chief guest, according to a press release.
Managing Director Alamgir Hossain, Deputy Managing Directors Md Mostafizur Rahman and Md Abdul Latif, and other senior officials of the bank were present.
Addressing the event, the speakers highlighted the role of banking support in business growth, particularly for small and medium enterprises (SMEs). They said the bank would focus on providing financing, working capital and trade finance facilities to help local entrepreneurs expand their businesses.
They also highlighted the bank’s retail and digital banking services, including deposit products, consumer finance and remittance facilities, to meet the needs of individuals and businesses.
Local business leaders, clients and invited guests from Chattogram attended the inauguration.
