Akij brands bring 800 participants to Malaysia conference

Akij Board and Akij Door, two brands of AkijBashir Group, brought together 800 business associates, dealers and employees at a conference in Malaysia on Wednesday to discuss business growth, customer service and stronger business partnerships.
The “Evolve Beyond Business Conference 2026” was held at Robin Resources, a sister concern of the group, according to a press release.
The conference brought together 400 business associates, dealers and representatives of Akij Board and Akij Door, along with 400 employees and dealers of Robin Resources.
Sheikh Bashir Uddin, managing director of AkijBashir Group, presented awards to dealers in recognition of their contributions and outlined the group’s strategic priorities. He also highlighted recent product launches and plans to expand the company’s range of furniture components and densified wood.
The programme included visits to Genting Highlands and Berjaya Times Square Hotel, providing participants with opportunities to network outside the formal sessions.
Shamsuddin Ahmed, deputy managing director of AkijBashir Group; Sk Zakaria Nashim, general manager of operations; Md Nazrul Islam, general manager of sales; Sk Md Mizanur Rahman, deputy general manager of production; Mirza Mashud, deputy general manager of sales; and other senior officials attended the conference.
