IPDC wins award for digital card platform

IPDC Finance PLC has won the ‘Fintech Innovation of the Year – NBFI’ award at the 4th Bangladesh Fintech Award 2026 for its Ucchash Card Management System.
Launched in May this year, the Ucchash Card offers eligible customers discounts and special deals at restaurants, hotels, healthcare facilities, educational institutions and other service providers.
The card management system uses QR codes to verify eligibility and record the redemption of offers. It also allows the company to manage participating merchants and offers through a central platform.
The initiative served more than 400 customers between May and August 2026, according to a press release.
Rizwan Dawood Shams, managing director of IPDC Finance, said the system was developed to extend customer benefits beyond conventional financial services.
