International travel mart opens in Ctg tomorrow

The 16th Chittagong Travel Mart, a three-day international travel and tourism fair, opens at The Peninsula Chittagong on Thursday.

Chattogram City Corporation Mayor Dr Shahadat Hossain will inaugurate the fair as chief guest, while Chattogram-9 MP Mohammad Abu Sufian will attend as special guest, according to a press release.

Organised by The Bangladesh Monitor and sponsored by Chuti Bay, the event will bring together 28 organisations, including airlines, travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, resorts and healthcare providers, creating opportunities for business networking and industry partnerships.

Visitors can avail themselves of special deals on air tickets, hotel stays and tour packages, while medical specialists will provide free consultations.

The fair will remain open from 10am to 8pm until 10 October at Dahlia Hall of The Peninsula Chittagong. Pre-registered visitors can also participate in daily raffle draws to win air tickets.
